HUDDERSFIELD Giants will be looking to wrap up their regular season in the Junior Academy Championship with an impressive victory over Salford City Reds at Laund Hill on Sunday (2.00).

A win is certainly well within the capabilities of coach Chris Plume's side, who enjoyed a 52-12 triumph over Salford at The Willows on July 2.

And with memories of a big 44-4 victory at Castleford five days ago fresh in the minds, the Giants won't be lacking in confidence.

Huddersfield will have to do without the services of Thomas Hemingway, who is on first-team standby, but should still have enough firepower.

Giants officials had tried to avoid a clash with the club's Super League fixture at Bradford Bulls.

But with YMCA's first team at home tomorrow, the YMCA's junior sides in action on Sunday and no other venue available, the Giants had no other option but to kick-off at 2pm.

Giants: Cudjoe; Johnson, Martin, George (L), Heeley; Garside, Proctor; Lawson, Gee, Perry, Donlan, Williams, George (S). Subs: Flaherty, Dobbs, Valentine, Brooke.
