IN-FORM Kevin Brown has pledged his immediate future to the Giants and dismissed any imminent move to Australia.

The 25-year-old stand-off has been in the form of his life this season and is already beginning to forge a potent half-back partnership with new scrum half Danny Brough.

As a result, he is continuing to be linked with a potential move to the Australian NRL.

And although Brown has made it clear he would like to play Down Under at some stage, he will remain 100% behind the Giants cause until the end of the 2012 campaign at the earliest.

“I’ve never made a secret of the fact I’d like to play in Australia at some point,” said Brown, who was the Giants man-of-the-match in last weekend’s win at Crusaders and is relishing the chance to lock horns with former club Wigan as part of the Magic Weekend in Edinburgh on Sunday.

“As a professional player you always want to test yourself against the best, and in rugby league that’s the NRL.

“But that’s something for the future.

“Right now I’ve still got over two years left on my current Giants contract and I’m totally committed to the club’s cause.

“I absolutely love it here. I enjoy working under Nathan and with this squad, and I know everything is in place for us to enjoy even more success than we did last year.

“To be honest, playing in Australian isn’t my No. 1 priority.

“My main aim is to keep my head down, keep on improving and look to play my part in a Giants side that is continuing to get better and better.”
