POPULAR Huddersfield kit man Frank Doyle has retired from his post.

He quits after three decades in the job and has been made a Life Vice-president of the Giants in recognition of his service to the club over the years.

His position will be taken by club masseur Steve Moslin, who will be in a position to take on both roles.

But Giants chief executive Ralph Rimmer admits that life at the McAlpine will not be the same without Frank.

"I know I'll miss Frank's happy and jovial manner every morning," said Rimmer.

"He has been a fantastic servant of the club over the years and has worked unstintingly and tirelessly during that time. He has been a great help to me.

"This Life Vice-presidency is thoroughly deserved."
