A SPORTS Quiz is being staged by Golcar British Legion Club on Tuesday, April 27 as party of Eorl Crabtree’s testimonial.
The three-man teams represent Huddersfield Giants with Eorl and two teammates, the Super League referees of Richard Silverwood, Ben Thaler and James Child and a media team selection of Dave Woods (BBC TV), Bill Arthur (Sky) and Chris Roberts (Examiner).
Question master will be Danny Lockwood, the publisher of League Weekly.
Tickets, including supper, are priced £10 for adults and £7 for Under14s, and are available in advance from Golcar British Legion Club in Scar Lane, Golcar.
But admission can also be gained at the door on the night from 7.30pm.
There are also a number of events to raise cash for the Giants Talentbuilder Fund and this summers’ Academy tour to Australia.
The highlight is a question and answer session with head coach Nathan Brown and head conditioner Mark Andrews at the Bulls Head pub, Crosland Moor, on Thursday, April 29.
Other events, where Giants stars will make guests appearances, are taking place at the Craven Heifer, Cosland Moor (April 21), The Shakespeare, Marsden (April 22) and Slubbers Arms, Fartown (April 28).
