ROBBIE PAUL will make his Huddersfield Giants Super League debut at the home of world club champions Leeds Rhinos.
The big Headingley showdown on Sunday, February 12 (3.00) marks a tough start to the Super League XI season for coach Jon Sharp's side.
A trip to face former Giants coach Tony Smith's men is followed by an opening home clash against Warrington Wolves on Sunday, February 19. That kicks-off at 3.00pm, which will be the Giants regular Sunday start time.
It's then a visit to Wigan five days later before a live Sky TV showdown with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at Belle Vue on Saturday, March 6 (6.05).
That's one of five Sky dates for Huddersfield, including a match at Bradford Bulls on Easter Tuesday (April 18) when Paul will make his first return to the club where he spent 11 legendary years.
It's also a fixture which comes in the middle of a punishing eight-day period for the Giants, opening with a home date with Hull FC on Good Friday (7.30) and finishing with another Sky game at Wigan on Saturday, April 22 (6.05).
The Giants have to wait until Saturday, September 9 (6.00) to travel to France to play Catalan Dragons in Narbonne, followed by the last game of the regular season at home to Bradford.
