DISAPPOINTED Huddersfield Giants are already plotting victory over Hull next Friday!

The Super League side suffered a 36-18 defeat by in-form Salford City Reds at a wet Willows last night.

It was the heaviest loss of the season for the fifth-placed Giants.

And coach Jon Sharp is determined they bounce back in style.

"We're all bitterly disappointed and we must put thing right," he said.

"The conditions were difficult but Salford handled them far better than we did and there's a lesson there.

"I also thought we got a couple of tough calls from the referee and I'll be looking closely at the video.

"But there are plenty of other areas for us to consider and work on, and that process has already begun.

"Hopefully we'll have a smoother week's build up.

"We had a couple of blokes out there who were carrying bumps, and while we lost Paul Reilly through illness, there were a few more who were touch and go, and that obviously disrupted our planning."

The Good Friday home game with Hull is followed by a trip to Bradford Bulls on Easter Tuesday.

And Sharp added: "To have won last night would have been a big boost before a busy spell.

"But we were not at our best and we paid the price."

Tonight it's Bradford v Warrington and Catalans v Castleford.
