JON SHARP has ordered his players to ignore all the Wigan hype and make sure new coach Brian Noble makes the worst possible start to his Warriors career.

The Giants chief knows all of the pre-match talk ahead of tomorrow's clash against Wigan at the Galpharm (6.05) will be focused on Noble, whose move from Bradford Bulls was confirmed yesterday.

Huddersfield coach Sharp, who is the assistant to Noble in the Great Britain set-up, knows his team will be cast as the bit-part player tomorrow night.

But he is more than happy about that, and is looking to take full advantage of the situation and cast Wigan even further adrift at the foot of the Super League ladder.

"All the focus will be on Brian and Wigan," said Sharp, pictured.

"But as far as we're concerned, tomorrow is all about us.

"We're refusing to be dragged into the media circus that is surrounding the arrival of Brian.

"There are far more important issues at stake for us.

"We're obviously fully aware the Wigan players will be in an emotional state and pumped-up to impress their new coach.

"But this is also a big match for us, because we're determined to regain our place in the top six after losing our last three matches.

"That's a statistic that hurts, and all our focus has been on looking to produce a performance that will get us the win. That's what tomorrow is all about for us."
