EORL CRABTREE is looking for one big England performance to finally launch his Great Britain career.

The 24-year-old Giants prop is expected to start for England against Tonga in Sunday's Federation Shield final at Widnes.

It will be his sixth successive appearance for his country.

But he is determined to make it his last by producing a massive display against the Tongans and gaining promotion to the Lions squad.

"It has been an honour to play for England, but next year I want to be playing for Great Britain in the Tri-Nations!" he said.

"I know there are a lot of very good props out there.

"But I've waited for my turn long enough now. I feel I'm ready to take the next step up.

"That process gets under way against Tonga in the Federation Shield final.

"If I can play well that day and have a good season with the Giants, I believe I will have earned my chance."
