HUDDERSFIELD Giants have set their sights on bouncing straight back from last week's big Junior Academy disappointment.

Coach Andy Proctor's side are still smarting from their heavy 70-12 defeat at red-hot Championship title favourites Widnes.

And they are looking at Sunday's clash against Warrington Wolves at the DRAM Centre (11.30) as the ideal opportunity to get back on the winning track.

Victory for the Giants would help them strengthen their sixth spot in the competition, with hopes high it can be achieved.

They have been boosted by the return of strike centre Luke George, who has been in top form all year, and they will look to him to help secure a fourth win of the season.

"The match at Widnes was a bit of a rude awakening," said football manager Stuart Sheard.

"On the form the Vikings showed against us it would be no surprise if they were to win the competition.

"But the defeat has hit the boys hard and they're determined to put it right this weekend."
