NATHAN BROWN is aiming to send an unchanged side into Super League battle against Hull KR at the Galpharm on Friday.

All 17 who helped Huddersfield fight back from an 18-0 deficit to beat fourth-placed Hull FC 32-18 on Sunday are expected to be available for selection against the Robins.

Prop Darrell Griffin picked up a heavy knock towards the end of the Hull contest and was taken off as a precaution, with Brown looking for everyone to carry on from where they left off two days ago.

“Even though we did have a few people missing, we showed in the second half against Hull what we can do if everyone is on the same page at the same time,” said Brown.

“Now the challenge is to do that again when we play Hull KR on Friday night.

“We’re still not being consistent enough, so it would be nice to back up Sunday’s win with a good performance against Hull KR.

“We’ve had some success against them and hopefully that will continue on Friday.

“All being well, we’ll use the same 17 after they did so well in the second half on Sunday.

“We did pick up a couple of knocks, for instance the one to Darrell, but he was brought off purely as a precaution because we’ve got a quick turnaround this week.”

A key to the Giants’ win over Hull was the contribution of the bench, and Brown was full of praise for the substitutes.

“They were great on Sunday,” he added.

“Larne Patrick was terrific, Graeme Horne excellent in his first game at prop for us, Brad Drew gave us a nice bit of composure and David Faiumu was just about the best player on the field.

“They all showed how valuable players can be off the bench.”
