Huddersfield Giants’ new Australian signing arrived at the Galpharn Stadium this morning after receiving a work permit in just three weeks.
The 24-year-old former South Sydney centre was introduced to his new teammates before training today, but he will not feature for the Giants in Saturday’s Super League XVI opener against Warrington Wolves in Cardiff as part of the Magic Weekend at the Millennium Stadium.
"It’s great to be here and I can’t wait to get cracking." said a delighted Simpson.
"My first impressions are all positive, and it’s now a case of knuckling down and trying to get a spot in the side as quickly as possible."
