FORMER Giants captain Ben Roarty could be about to face his old mates!

The popular 31-year-old forward has missed Castleford Tigers' last two Super League games with a knee injury.

But he has been named in his club's 20-man squad for Sunday's showdown, with a start believed to be on the cards.

With Danny Sculthorpe (thumb) injured, Richard Fa'aoso suspended and Keith Mason looking for a move away, the Tigers are lacking three big players in the pack.

That makes an expected return for Roarty a very timely boost, although he still has to take a late fitness test.

The powerful Australian will be part of a pack that includes another former Huddersfield player in Matthew Whitaker, pictured above, who has figured in all of the Tigers' games this season.

Fellow forward Craig Huby is also in line to play after injury, while coach Terry Matterson has promoted Academy player Grant Edwards to his 20-man squad.

The Barnsley-born forward, who joined the Tigers from amateur club Redhill, celebrated his 19th birthday this week.
