HUDDERSFIELD Giants suffered an embarrassing 80-0 Senior Academy defeat at Leeds Rhinos last night.
Kick-off was delayed for 40 minutes as the teams waited for a doctor to arrive.
And the Giants were obviously bitterly disappointed the medic finally turned up as they were ripped apart at will!
The visitors had no answer to the power of a strong Rhinos second string, led superbly by Super League squad men Scott Murrell and Carl Ablett.
By half-time, the home side were out of sight at 58-0 and it was then a case of damage limitation in the second half.
In that respect, the final 40 minutes have to be regarded as a moral success!
