IN-FORM Huddersfield Giants are on a roll!

Having broken their Super League duck with the big 56-12 triumph over Wakefield at the Galpharm on Friday, they backed it up with an excellent 26-18 victory at Warrington Wolves yesterday.

The crucial Easter double now leaves the Giants just one point behind fellow strugglers Salford.

It also puts them in excellent mood ahead of Sunday's home clash against Wigan, who are at Leeds tonight, with Sharp looking to build.

"It was vital we backed up the win over Wakefield with another good performance at Warrington," said Sharp. "We didn't want to fail yesterday and be labelled one-hit wonders. We wanted to build on our efforts last Friday and get some winning momentum under our belts.

"That's exactly what we've done."

Sharp added: "But while we're all delighted to get this win, the reality is that we are still at the bottom of the league.

"We know we've got some quality teams in front of us, and it's important we carry on building from where we are.

"Although this win over Warrington was a good one, it was far from being the perfect display.

"In the first half, we created a number of chances, but failed to take several of them. We've got to sort that out.

"We've still got a lot of hard work ahead of us."

Sharp sprung a major surprise by including Jamahl Lolesi in the side, despite a badly bruised knee, and he came through unscathed.
