PAUL JACKSON is ready to silence Castleford's `Danny Boys'!
The Giants prop believes last week's thrilling 26-20 triumph over former club Wakefield is just what his side needed to spark a late Super League surge.
And now the 27-year-old has the chance to reinforce that fact against another of his old teams at the Galpharm on Sunday (3.00).
But he knows that to complete a successful mission, it's up to him and the rest of the Huddersfield pack to get the better of the three form Tigers forwards, Danny Nutley, Danny Sculthorpe and Danny Ward.
"We know we face a big battle in the forwards," said Jackson.
"That's where Castleford's strength really lies, so we know it's up to our pack to make sure we do our job right.
"It's going to be tough, because they've got some great players.
"Nutley's been a top signing for them and he just keeps coming at you all the time, while Sculthorpe and Ward are both in great form.
"But we know we can get the better of them.
"The way we came back to win against Wakefield has given us loads of confidence.
"We've worked hard this week at fixing up the things that went wrong against Wakefield, and we believe we've come up with the right answers.
"Obviously, we'll know for sure on Sunday. "But we do feel we're getting back to our best and can back up last week's win with an even better performance on Sunday.
"A win would help our Super League cause, but also put us in great mood ahead of the cup semi-final against Leeds a week later."
