HUDDERSFIELD Giants could go into battle at Belle Vue with an entire ex-Wakefield front row.

Lining up at the front of the pack at their former club on Saturday could be Wayne McDonald, Paul March and Paul Jackson.

And, for good measure, they could be joined in the second row by new recruit Steve Snitch, who arrived over the winter - from Wakefield!

If that scenario arises it will obviously be down to Giants head coach Jon Sharp, a former assistant - at Wakefield!

"There are a lot of `old boys' ready to make their returns, there's no doubt about it," said Sharp, who will come up against former Giant Paul White following his switch to the Wildcats at the end of last season.

"But I don't expect this to have a big bearing on the contest.

"Obviously, there's always a little extra emotion attached when a player makes a return to a former club.

"But in this day and age, with players coming and going to clubs all the time, it's becoming more common for this to happen.

"Look at Wayne McDonald, for instance.

"Almost every other week, big Wayne will be up against old teammates!"

And the picture above shows the big prop in action against another former club Wigan, with another Trinity `old boy' in Paul March looking on.
