HUDDERSFIELD Giants are hoping the fact tomorrow night’s Super League clash against Catalans Dragons is on Sky TV won’t prevent a record Galpharm crowd against the French.

The mark to beat is 4,319 set last season, and under normal circumstances the figure would expect to fall.

But with the game being televised and getting under way at the earlier time of 7.30, a similar attendance is on the cards.

To encourage more fans to turn up, the club have put on a ‘Pie and a Pint’ offer which is available at a discounted price of £4.50 if purchased before 7.15.

The offer is ideal for fans travelling straight from work to attend.

And Giants marketing chief James Brammer is hoping this, and the fact Direct Golf will celebrate sponsoring their stand with competitions and half-time giveaways, will prove an incentive.

“There’s a lot at stake in this match, with the chance to move up the Super League table if we win,” he said.

“And let’s hope the ‘Pie and Pint’ offer encourages a few more to come!”
