BATTLE-HARDENED Giants hooker Brad Drew will be calling on all his big-match Australian experience to help guide his side to Super League play-off glory.

The 30-year-old knows his club face a tough test to reach the top six for the first time, with Saturday's clash at London Broncos (6.05) followed by games against Bradford and Wigan.

Huddersfield need to win all three to guarantee a play-off berth.

But Drew believes that can be achieved, and admits it would be the ideal way for him to finish a great first year.

"I've loved every minute of my season here, and reaching the play-offs would be the icing on the cake," said the former Australian Dally M hooker of the year.

"We know how tough it's going to be.

"We face away games at London and Bradford and then finish at home to Wigan.

"But we also know our destiny is in our own hands, and that if we win all three no-one can stop us getting into the six.

"That's something that gives us a big boost. What more motivation than that do we need to take to London on Saturday?

"We're going to have to be very good to beat the Broncos, but we know we're a good side and we need to show that again.

"I've always enjoyed playing in big games, and Saturday's is a big game.

"Back in Australia, I was involved in semi-final footy (play-offs) for the last five years - with Canberra Raiders and Parramatta Eels - so I know what it's like to be involved in matches of this intensity.

"Hopefully, I'll be able to call on all that experience with the Giants and we can finish the season on a real high."
