SKY's Mike Stephenson has defended his company's decision to switch a Giants' game at London Broncos at short notice.
Giants fans have been angered by the decision to switch the Sunday, July 24 fixture to Friday, July 22 for the benefit of television.
Stephenson admits it is not the ideal situation and knows many fans' plans have been disrupted.
But he believes the supporters should consider the bigger picture.
"I know we've copped a fair bit of stick over this, and I'm sure there will be one or two comments from the fans at Salford tonight," said Stephenson, pictured.
"I do have a fair bit of sympathy for them, that's for sure.
"But the supporters should remember that if it wasn't for the Sky money, there might not be a club for them to follow.
"The Giants have been given millions of pounds by Sky over the years, and it's this cash that has helped them fund the signings of the likes of De Vere and Drew."
