GIANTS coach Jon Sharp is calling for the same again from his side as Huddersfield prepare for Super League battle against Wigan at the Galpharm tomorrow night (8.00).

Sharp was delighted by his side's performance during the controversial 26-22 Challenge Cup defeat to St Helens on Sunday.

And he believes a repeat display against Wigan could lay the foundations for a fifth win.

"Against St Helens, we were the better team for around 75 minutes," said Sharp.

"If we maintain that form tomorrow we'll give ourselves a good chance."

Meanwhile, the RFL have revealed Giants coach Sharp is one of several coaches to be investigated by the Disciplinary Commissioner.

Investigations are commenced should reports be received from either Match Commissioners or match officials after games.

Such reports are a routine part of post-match procedure.

Sharp is being investigated over comments he made regarding the handling of the Giants v St Helens Cup clash by referee Ronnie Laughton.

Other coaches who have been under investigation are Scott Naylor (Salford), Karl Harrison (Salford), Dave Woods (Castleford), Brian Noble (Bradford) and Ian Millward (St Helens).

Explaining the decision to publish instances of coaching staff coming under review, a RFL spokesman said: "Following media interest in specific cases we have decided to publish incidents referred by Commissioners and officials.

"The RFL wish to emphasise that investigations into the conduct of coaches don't always lead further.

"The Disciplinary Commissioner's investigations are completed as quickly as possible and, accordingly, the RFL make no comment on any of the cases until the process is complete."
