HUDDERSFIELD’S Reserve side have booked their place in the top six play-offs!

Their 34-28 midweek triumph at Warrington ensured coach Andy Proctor’s side will finish either fifth or sixth in the competition.

That will be confirmed after tomorrow’s final League clash against St Helens at Brighouse Rangers (2.00) when victory will obviously guarantee the higher-placed finish.

Saints are third in the League, but if the Giants can re-produce the quality form they showed at Warrington, when Jermaine McGillvray, Richard Lopag and Brent Paish each scored two tries, a 10th win of the season is definitely on the cards.

The Giants’ Academy side also remain on target for a play-off spot, and that will be confirmed with victory over Leeds Rhinos at Brighouse on Sunday (noon).
