GIANTS business development manager Robbie Hunter-Paul (left) is launching another survey to bring the fans and their Super League club even closer together.

A first on-line supporters questionnaire took place earlier in the year, with the feedback resulting in a number of key changes.

But RL legend Hunter-Paul is keen to see the bond between club and fans become tighter and has launched a second survey to make that happen.

It goes ‘live’ on the Giants website, www.giantsrl.com, at noon and runs through to 9pm on Sunday, November 18.

And if this survey proves as successful as the first, Hunter-Paul would be delighted.

“Our first major survey and research uncovered many areas where the club and our stadium partners could help to improve our offerings at the stadium,” he said.

“It also led directly to the development of the Giants’ cricket family fun day which was deemed a huge success and something we are looking not only to repeat but also build on with other similar events, including the Giants free poker evening at Grosvenor Casino where players and fans can relax and interact face-to-face without stewarding and barriers.

“As you know the surveys we undertake help us understand our supporters better and allow us to make our strategic decisions based on direct feedback as opposed to intuition.

“A bi-product of this ‘new’ survey will mean we will become the most informed Super League club in the world of rugby league about our supporters, which is vital for identifying new opportunities and also allowing us to understand better who we are as a club and a community.

The detail we’ll gather will allow us to understand many of the different things that the Claret and Gold faithful enjoy in life not just about the club but away from the John Smiths stadium also. This will help in the creation of better events, activities and better partnerships.”

And to encourage as many fans as possible to take part, there’s a special RL prize up for grabs for those who enter.

“To say thank you for your time and effort, we’ll invited all those who enter the opportunity to go into a prize draw to win a ‘unique Rugby League memorabilia’ pack,” added Hunter-Paul.

“The pack will have a signed 2013 home replica shirt, a ball signed by this year’s England team (Autumn International squad), a 2012 Giants alternative replica signed by all those that took part in the 20/20 cricket match, including RL legends Brian Noble and Henry Paul and finally a signed 2013 Huddersfield Giants calendar.

“All you have to do to win this fantastic prize is click on the link and follow the instructions.

“You will be able to access the ‘About You’ Giant Survey” from 12pm today, and it really is very simple to do.

“This questionnaire has been put together with a lot of care and thought and will be vital for our club to continue our journey towards Super League success.”
