LUKE ROBINSON has heaped praise on his Giants teammates for helping him discover his best form of the season.
The 24-year-old scrum half has struck a highly successful and effective half-back partnership with Chris Thorman over the past month.
In that time, Huddersfield have secured their first two away Super League successes of the season at Wigan and Castleford, with Robinson and Thorman to the fore.
But the former Wigan and Salford No7 believes it is only right for the praise to be shared more evenly throughout the side, and he will again be looking to his in-form teammates to provide the winning platform against Hull FC at the KC Stadium tomorrow (6.00).
"I’ve really been enjoying it over the past month or so, not least because we’ve had a couple of cracking wins," said Robinson.
"I would obviously like to think the half-back partnership between Chris and myself has been a factor in the revival, but I know there’s far more to it than that.
"A half-back can only be as effective as the players in front of you, and right now they’re absolutely fantastic.
"They’re the ones who have been putting us on the front foot, and I’m loving it!
"If the forwards are doing their job, I know I’ll have the extra space to hopefully create the openings for tries. We saw that was the case at Castleford last week, in particular.
"And the key tomorrow is obviously for the big guys to do it all again, which we all know won’t be easy.
"Hull are always strong in the forwards, and playing at the KC always seems to bring the best out of them.
"But with the confidence we have throughout the side we’re all really looking forward to the challenge, and we see no reason at all why we can’t make it three away wins on the trot."
