INJURED Huddersfield hooker Adam Lancaster is the only absentee as the rugby union club aim to salvage some pride from a shocking season in tomorrow's home derby clash with Morley (3.00).

Ex-Leeds man Chris Gough continues in the No2 shirt for the Powergen North I fixture as the long-since relegated Lockwood Park side aim to get the better of the Maroons and their former Huddersfield favourite Colin Stephens for the first time in five games over two seasons.

Welsh international fly half Stephens, who left Huddersfield for Sedgley Park in the summer of 2000, took over as director of rugby at Scatcherd Lane two years later.

He has so far failed in his mission to help Morley regain the National III North spot which was surrendered shortly before his arrival (they finished sixth last time around and are fourth going into tomorrow's match).

But the man with the sweet right foot has guided his club to four wins over Huddersfield: 3-0 and 29-5 at Scatcherd Lane and 16-6 and 21-11 (Yorkshire Cup) at Lockwood Park.

It's a sign of Huddersfield's troubles this campaign that they slumped 16-7 in last week's friendly at YMCA'S Yorkshire I rivals Old Crossleyans.

At the same time, Morley were drubbing Knottingley 65-22.

In the League, however, Stephens' side have lost their last two, 29-10 at Cleckheaton and 30-8 at home to Vale of Lune, and Huddersfield, whose coaching co-ordinator Pete O'Neill is a former Morley player, will hope to repeat the gutsy show they produced at champions-elect Bradford & Bingley in February.
