HUDDERSFIELD Giants are looking to follow in the rugby league footsteps of All Saints High School!

The Super League Giants face Leeds Rhinos in the semi-final of the Powergen Challenge Cup at Odsal on Sunday, July 30.

At stake is a place in the final at Twickenham on August 26.

But the girls from All Saints are already there!

The triumphant girls team booked their trip to the showpiece rugby league event after battling past a number of sides during a tough Powergen Schools RL tournament qualifying process.

All Saints began their march to the final by winning in the Yorkshire group stage at Shaw Cross.

They then qualified for the National Festival at Rochdale where they secured wins over teams from Wales, Scotland, London, the North West and Yorkshire.

This earned the girls a National Final appearance with Cardinal Newman, Warrington, at RAF Uxbridge, the day before the final.

The following day they will take part in a parade around the pitch in front of a 70,000 capacity Cup final crowd at Twickenham.

The school are now fundraising for their two-night trip.
