TICKETS for the Giants' Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth-round clash at Salford City Reds will go on sale on Sunday.

The tie was yesterday confirmed for Friday, May 11 at 8pm.

Tickets are priced at just £12 for adults and £6 for concessions, and there is also a pre-purchase family offer of one adult and up to two children for £15.

With the tickets going on sale on Sunday, it means fans can pick them up ahead of this Sunday's Galpharm Super League clash against Harlequins (3.00), which is the last home game before the Challenge Cup clash takes place.

But tickets can also be purchased by contacting the Galpharm Stadium ticket hotline on 0870 4444552.

Meanwhile, the 2008 World Cup final will be played at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on November 22.

The announcement was made by Queensland state premier Peter Beattie to state parliament.

The stadium will also host a semi-final a week earlier.

"We have the best players, the best fans and the best facilities," Beattie said.

Other major matches in the Cup will be held at Dairy Farmers Stadium in Townsville on November 9 and the yet-to-be-completed Skilled Stadium at Robina on the Gold Coast on November 1.

Another regional centre, yet to be named, will host a pool match on November 11.

* Hull KR head coach Justin Morgan is determined to establish the club in Super League after committing his future to the Robins.

Morgan, 31, who led the club to promotion last year, has signed a contract extension keeping him at Craven Park until the end of the 2010 season.

The Australian has quickly established a reputation as one of the game's best young coaches.

And Morgan said: "This is a huge step forward for me as a coach.

"My original contract went up until the end of 2008.

"But this opportunity gives me the chance to help improve the capabilities of the very talented squad I have."

Hull KR host bottom club Salford on Sunday before a home clash against the Giants next Friday night.
