TODAY is going to be a very tough one in terms of team selection.

After training, I’ve got to decide which 19 players will be in Sunday’s squad to face St Helens at the Galpharm.

And it’s not going to be easy.

Apart from Eorl Crabtree, everyone who played at Catalans Dragons is available for selection.

It’s possible fellow prop Michael Korkidas may get the nod to come in.

But, on top of that, I’m sure Jamahl Lolesi and Leroy Cudjoe – who were 18th and 19th man in France – will be busting a gut to get a run.

And now David Faiumu is back in town after returning to New Zealand due to a family bereavement.

Last week, Jammer, left, just missed out because of how hard the boys in his position had worked during his absence.

Obviously, it wasn’t Jammer’s fault his return to us was delayed because of red tape.

But such had been the effort and commitment throughout pre-season of the players around him that it would have been almost impossible to have left them out against the Dragons.

However, there’s no doubt Jammer’s return is on the horizon. His fitness levels are up and his skin folds are down to where he’d like. That’s obviously down to the hard work he’s put in since returning to us from Australia three weeks ago, and it’s not gone unnoticed.
