THERE will be few bets taken against the Giants claiming their fourth Senior Academy First Division win of the season against Doncaster Dragons at Laund Hill tomorrow (2.30).

Coach Lee St Hilaire's side have rattled up 40 points in each of their opening three matches, comfirming their status as competition favourites.

And it seems highly unlikely the Dragons, with one win from their three League games, will inflict any serious damage on the home side.

The Giants have resisted the temptation to include fit-again Super League scrum half Paul White.

The talented 21-year-old is now back in full-contact training following a broken leg suffered in the pre-season game against Castleford.

But the decision has been taken to leave him another week to make 100% sure he is back to full fitness.

In his place will be Junior Academy half-back Paul Mennell, who has been in outstanding form for the Senior and has the ability to make the Dragons suffer.

He will be forming a half-back partnership with Tony Williams.

The Junior Academy side, meanwhile, are still waiting to learn whether they will be in the Championship or First Division this season.

Senior Academy: Knight; Fagborun, Robinson, Senior, George; Williams, Mennell; Southwell, Joseph, Grayshon, Whittaker, Gledhill, Lythes. Subs: Samuel, Armitage, Holdsworth, Clare.
