GIANTS coach Jon Sharp admits it will be a proud moment when he sees three of his players line up for England against Ireland in tomorrow's European Nations Cup final at Warrington (1.45).

Eorl Crabtree, Paul Reilly and Stuart Jones are all earmarked to feature at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, although coach Karl Harrison has still to finalise his starting line-up.

The trio's selection would round off a memorable England campaign in which victories have already been achieved in Russia and France.

But Sharp knows that tomorrow's final showdown is the one that really matters.

"I'm proud to have had three of my Huddersfield squad in the England side," said Sharp.

"And it will be a proud moment to see them in action against the Irish.

"Their selection is another sign of how well the Giants performed in Super League last season, and I hope we have more players on representative duty this time next year.

"I've been in regular contact with (England coach) Karl Harrison and he's been very impressed with the way all three players have conducted themselves throughout their time with England.

"He's also commented how hard they have all worked in training. They have made a positive impression."

And the Giants coach is hoping the Huddersfield fans will turn out in force to support the players in Warrington, as well as at tonight's Great Britain v New Zealand Gillette Tri-Nations clash at the Galpharm Stadium.

"It's a big weekend for rugby league in Huddersfield and I hope that's reflected by the level of support from the town," added the Great Britain assistant coach.
