FIRED-UP skipper Chris Thorman is determined to celebrate a return `'home' by leading the Giants to a stunning Super League triumph over Leeds.

It's over two months since Huddersfield's fit-again star last played at the Galpharm. But that long wait comes to an end on Sunday and he's keen to make up for lost time.

"The last time I played at the Galpharm was when I broke my thumb over two months ago," reflected the 25-year-old goalkicking half-back.

"A lot has gone on since then, but losing to Wigan is a result I've been dwelling on. It's a bad last Galpharm memory.

"So I see Sunday's match as the chance to change all that.

"I love playing at the stadium, and Sunday is going to be great.

"It's easy to get motivated when you're playing a team like Leeds Rhinos and I just hope it brings the best out of me.

"It would be fantastic to mark my return home by being part of a Giants side that's beaten Leeds.

"We know it's not going to be easy, because they've got a squad packed full of internationals.

"But we've already shown this season we can compete with the best and we're all looking forward to it.

"We know we're going to need to be at our very best, and that's what we're determined to be."
