THE Giants are holding their first Talentbuilder evening at the Galpharm Stadium tomorrow (7pm).

The meeting is for fans to hear more about the club’s plans to develop more homegrown players for their Super League squad.

Present at the event will be Giants managing director Richard Thewlis, deputy chairman Paul Morgan, football director Mel Green, player performance manager Peter Riding and football manager Stuart Sheard.

A presentation will be given on the new ‘homegrown player’ rules implemented recently by the RFL and its effect and importance to the Giants.

The current structure of the youth set-up at the club will be presented, with areas of responsibility outlined, and then the Talentbuilder project.

Questions will be taken from the floor, and the club is hoping that ways can be found for fans to directly help the Talentbuilder.

Season ticket holders will gain free entry and non season ticketholders will be asked for a £1 donation which will go to the Talentbuilder fund.
