GIANTS captain Chris Thorman believes the forwards should take the credit for his side's change in fortunes.

And he has no doubt they will hold the key to a fourth Super League victory on the trot against Harlequins at the Galpharm on Sunday (3.00).

In the wins over Wakefield, Warrington and Wigan over the past two weeks, the pack have been leading the Giants by example.

It's something Thorman expects to see again this weekend as Huddersfield look to climb away from the foot of the Super League ladder.

"I think everyone has been great in the past few weeks," said Thorman.

"But the forwards, in particular, have been nothing short of magnificent.

"I've loved playing behind this pack all year, because they make a half-back's job so much easier.

"They've been laying a great platform to get us on a real roll, with their quick play-the-balls causing the opposition all sorts of problems.

"It's something they've been doing all year. It's just a shame it's taken us so long to be able to finish off all this good work.

"Hopefully, we'll have no such problems against Harlequins this weekend.

"They've got some genuine class in their side, and it's vitally important our pack gets the better of theirs or else they could make it difficult.

"However, I have complete confidence that the boys will do their job again and we can maintain our winning run.

"Once we get on a roll we're proving a difficult team to stop.

"The starting props do a great job in softening up the opposition, and then it's time to bring on big Eorl and big Darrell!

"It really does give us all a big lift when we look to the sidelines after about 20 minutes and see these two warming up, ready to come on.

"And I'm sure it must have the opposite effect on the opposition!

"We'll be expecting these two to have big games, because we know that if they do and they bring the best out of everyone else it'll be our day again."
