HUDDERSFIELD Giants coach Nathan Brown has re-affirmed his short-term commitment to the Giants but has not ruled out a return to Australia.

The former St George Illawarra boss, who was Super League coach of the year after guiding Huddersfield to Wembley and a third-place finish in his first season in England, has been linked with a move to Cronulla.

Brown, who is contracted to the Giants until the end of 2011, insists there has been no contact with Cronulla but admitted he would be tempted by a return to the NRL.

"I can’t guarantee I’ll be anywhere next year but I haven’t spoken to anyone in the NRL," he said.

"I won’t be coaching anyone else in England next year, that’s for sure. If I’m here, I’ll be at the Giants. Another winter like last year, don’t know that I’ll survive.

"If something comes up in Australia then I’m obviously going to look at it because that’s the country where I live and where all the family are."
