THE ever growing 2009 ‘Giants Revolution’ season-ticket base has spread across Europe and landed in Sweden!

Alan Hobson, a former Marsh man and Huddersfield-born fanatic who moved to Sweden in 1990, has pledged his support to the Giants at the Galpharm for 2009 and intends to take in as many matches as possible by travelling from Sweden by plane to Manchester Airport and get the train to the stadium.

“I think the offer is a superb one and all the incentive myself and my wife needed to make the commitment to travel across from Sweden,” Alan said.

“I can’t wait for the Giants’ new season to start.”

A lifelong fan who watched his first game at Fartown in 1957, Alan managed to come over for a few games last season.

However, the teacher plans to make many more next year on the back of the cut-price season-ticket offer.

“The 2009 season promises to be an exciting one and I’m delighted I’ll be able to be part of it,” he added.

“I’ve kept abreast of the Giants news and I can’t wait to see Todd Carney and Brett Hodgson in action in the claret and gold.

“Hopefully people closer to Huddersfield will take advantage of this superb offer and make sure as many people as possible join the Giants’ revolution.”

Tickets, from as little as £65, are on sale at the Galpharm.
