CASTLEFORD Tigers coach Graham Steadman has already hinted he will play as many of his big guns as possible in next Friday's Super League trial clash against the Giants at the McAlpine (8.00).

Steadman's side travel to Bradford Bulls tomorrow when debuts are to be handed to Paul Newlove, Sean Ryan and Craig Greenhill.

But the Tigers chief has admitted he will watch the Odsal match with one eye also on the McAlpine encounter five days later.

While Giants coach Jon Sharp will wait to get his squad back to Huddersfield following their week-long training camp in Ripon before finalising his line-up, Steadman is already revealing his hand.

New signing and vice captain Sean Rudder is now expected to make his debut against the Giants after missing tomorrow's Bulls clash with a knee injury.

And fellow new arrival Ryan Clayton and Damian Gibson, who picked up knocks during their training camp in Cyprus, are also being rested this weekend in order to be fit to face the Giants.

"It's an important hit-out tomorrow," said Steadman.

"But the game against Huddersfield is just as big and that will be reflected by the strength of squad I'll play."
