Huddersfield Giants forward Ukuma Ta’ai has been named on the bench for Tonga in their 2017 Rugby League World Cup Qualifier against the Cook Islands.

The two sides will meet at Campbelltown Stadium, home of Wests Tigers, on Saturday, October 17 (kick-off 7.30pm local time) for the Asia-Pacific World Cup Qualifier.

Tonga coach Kristian Woolf had originally named a 58-man train-on squad, but that has now been whittled down to 18, with powerhouse forward Ta’ai the only Super League player in the team.
