GIANTS chairman Ken Davy will tomorrow unveil a memorial garden outside the Galpharm Stadium.

The ceremony will take place at the side of the Sellers International bridge at 2.30 as part of the build-up to the St Helens game.

The garden will feature a piece of turf from the old Fartown ground, which was dug up by Mr Davy during a special ceremony (pictured above).

It will also be the new permanent home for the Dave Valentine Memorial Stone.

As well as the unveiling ceremony, which Giants officials hope will be well attended, there will be many other pre-match attractions for fans of all ages.

For youngsters, they will include a programme, co-ordinated by helpers from Eureka! Children's Museum.
