DAVE VALENTINE, the grandson of the Fartown legend of the same name, will make his full debut as the Giants look to make it four Junior Academy Championship triumphs on the trot against Widnes at Dewsbury tomorrow (2.30).
The Huddersfield Sharks junior has been putting in some impressive performances from the bench.
But tomorrow at the Rams' Tetley's Stadium, Valentine steps up to prop, with the Giants aiming to build on their victories over Leeds, Hull and Salford.
Huddersfield will also feel they have a point to prove as their worst performance of the season came at the Halton Stadium on June 4 when they were crushed 48-10.
Another tough, physical battle is predicted this weekend when the Giants will need to be at their best to secure a win which will keep them on course for the play-offs.
