GIANTS chief Nathan Brown is ready to lead a squad into Super League action which he knows will be ‘hungry and keen’.
Huddersfield open their Super League XIV campaign at Catalans Dragons next Saturday.
It promises to be a tough opener for Brown’s new-look side.
But the Australian believes his players will be prepared to give everything to the cause.
“This group of players is very closely-knit and they enjoy working with each other,” said Brown, who was speaking at the official engage Super League launch at the Galpharm Stadium.
“And that was borne out with how they were during last week’s pre-season camp at Bath.
“They’re all hungry and keen and that’s something for us to build on this season. They are very important qualities.”
