HUDDERSFIELD Giants have jumped on a bandwagon in a bid to raise cash for seriously injured Moldgreen player Danny Scott.

The Super League club have produced Huddersfield Giants wristbands, which were unveiled by players Chris Thorman and Iain Morrison, pictured right.

And the Giants are hoping fans snap them up as 50p from every sale of the £1.50 wristband will go to the Danny Scott fund.

The talented Scott was paralysed in a Pennine League game 15 months ago.

Club spokesman Jonathan Wilkinson said: "Wristbands are the big craze at the moment and the club are behind the fundraising efforts for the Danny Scott fund, so it seemed logical to help out this great cause.

"Fans have already been buying them in their hundreds and we hope more will follow.

"Even the players are now demanding them!"

The Giants wristbands are on sale at the at the Stadium shop and Sporting Pride Shop in Cloth Hall Street.
