HUDDERSFIELD Giants are gearing up for the Super League XII opener against St Helens at the Galpharm on Sunday, February 4 (7.05).
It promises to be a fantastic occasion and a spectacular way to launch what promises to be another great Super League season.
The Sky TV cameras will be there to see what happens in a repeat of last season's Challenge Cup final.
St Helens won that big Twickenham showdown and then went on to be crowned Super League champions.
It is hoped the re-match will attract a crowd of around 10,000, with a whole host of off-field activities planned to make it a night to remember.
And for one lucky young Huddersfield Giants fan, it could be the biggest night of all!
That's because one supporter under the age of 12 will be the matchday mascot for this most special of fixtures.
Thanks to a link-up with the Giants, the Examiner are offering the exclusive mascot prize to one young reader who can answer a simple question and then be the first name drawn out of the hat.
Included as part of the mascot prize will be a tour of the stadium, meeting the players, running out with the team ahead of kick-off, a photograph with the team captains and match officials, prime seats for the match and admission to the banqueting suite for the matchday presentation.
The Giants request the mascot wears a 2007 replica shirt and that only two people will be allowed to accompany the mascot inside the stadium.
The question is: "Who is the captain of the Giants?"
Send your answer, name, age, address and telephone number to: Giants Mascot Quiz, Sports Department, Huddersfield Daily Examiner, Queen Street South, Huddersfield, HD1 2TD.
Entries should arrive no later than Monday lunchtime.
