Huddersfield Giants couldn’t ask for a much better opening home Super League XXI clash than Wigan Warriors!

Just a week after kicking-off their 2016 top-flight campaign at St Helens, coach Paul Anderson’s men will be going head-to-head with the Cherry and Whites at the John Smith’s Stadium on Friday, February 12.

It’ll be the chance for the men in claret and gold to gain revenge for their 32-8 play-off semi-final defeat at Wigan four months ago, when they missed out on a first Super League Grand Final appearance at Old Trafford.

Hopes are high this could be the Giants’ year, and a win over Wigan would help reinforce that point.

And you could be there for free next Friday to see the action unfold, with the Examiner having teamed up with First Utility, the official sponsor of the Super League, to offer four lucky fans the chance to win a pair of tickets.
