YMCA have again rung the changes, forced on them by necessity and design as they chase that first elusive Yorkshire I victory of the season.

With scrum half Josh Marshall carrying a back injury, full-back Nicky Clarke an injured ankle and prop Lawrence Sanderson still recovering from a hamstring strain, coaching duo Damon Scholes and Jody Shaw have again re-shuffled the side for tomorrow’s visit to the coast to tackle Scarborough (3.00).

Ed Barber came off the bench last week for his first run-out since returning from a 12-month spell in Australia playing rugby league, and this week he gets the starting berth at outside centre alongside Chris Williams.

Meanwhile, exciting young winger Lloyd Bentley finds himself dropping back to play at No15, following Clarke’s continuing injury problems.

Similarly in the pack, Lawrence Sanderson has missed the last couple of games with a hamstring problem, and although his recovery is not far away, the selectors have decided to give him another week to be sure and have again brought the Dyke twins, Stephen and Stuart, together in the front row, along with Josh Wrafter.

Sean Merrick returns into the second row to partner Jack Housley, and Fabio Leonne-Mazza comes in at wing forward.

The other major change sees Simon Wilson, who impressed at fly-half at Pocklington, put on his more familiar jersey at scrum half, with James Swift recalled at 10.

Niall Murphy, who has completed a two-match suspension, is on the bench along with Bobby Bahadori, for a possible debut run-out with the first team, and Sam Hodge, who is also returning after injury.

YMCA: Bentley; Shaw, Barber, Williams, Morton; Swift, Wilson; Ste Dyke, Stu Dyke, Wrafter, Merrick, Housley, Whitehead, Leonne-Mazza, Walker. Subs: Bahadori, Hodge, Murphy.
