SKIPPER Neil Walker is back for YMCA’s visit to Moortown tomorrow as coach Damon Scholes looks for a third successive win to keep up with the Yorkshire II title chasers (3.00).

Walker has been on the sidelines for the last couple of weeks with injury, but his place has been adequately filled by Neil Pollock, who has helped lead the pack to victories over West Leeds and Ripon.

This week, however, he is unavailable, as is winger Alex Shaw, so Walker returns to his customary role at No8, while Chris Beever comes in on the wing, and Mark Lockwood who came off the bench last week to prop, this week gets the starting slot ahead of William Sellars.

There is a question mark over centre Chris Williams, who is currently struggling with a virus which has recently swept through the club, but John Smith is also on the bench as cover for the backs, while front row coach Andy Shaw – who played with Huddersfield and Otley in his prime – is also named as a substitute.

YM are in fourth place in the table, just one point behind joint leaders West Park Leeds, Hullensians and North Ribblesdale, but the Laund Hill men do have a game in hand on all three of the above teams.

Moortown on the other hand have only one win and one draw from seven games and are the lowest points-scorers in the division, but Scholes will want to ensure his side don’t take tomorrow’s task lightly.
