YMCA’s season came to a strange end, when Yorkshire II whipping boys Rishworthians failed to raise a full side and requested to the League they would like to play several unregistered players for the final clash of the season.
That left YM being awarded the game, but the two sides agreed to play a friendly anyway, and the Laund Hill side took full advantage to run a 91-19 scoreline.
Adam Ryder bagged four tries, his last coming in the final minute, while his inside centre Alex Shaw notched another hat trick, as did second row forward Jack Housley, while Darren Neilly scored two.
Other tries came from Simon Wilson, Neil Walker, Jon Smith, James Swift and Sam Hodge.
