Huddersfield YMCA could soon be featuring on TV.
The Laund Hill rugby union club are in negotiations to have their match at Hull on Saturday, April 2, screened live.
The National III North clash could possibly be shown by Estuary TV and by the Made in Leeds station.
“It’s part of an experiment which Hull are trying out and it all sounds very interesting,” said YMCA director of rugby Damon Scholes.
“We have been talking things through for the past couple of weeks and there are still a few things which need to fall into place, but it could be good exposure for both clubs and you never know what can come from it.
“Made in Leeds TV is broadcast in this area, of course, so it would put us out there to a big audience.
“So we will remain in contact with Hull over this and see where we get to over the fixture on April 2.”
