PLAYER-coach Jamie Marsden has declared himself fit to play in YMCA’s penultimate game in Yorkshire I at Sheffield tomorrow (3.00).

Marsden, who made his name with the Laund Hill club before following coach Kevin McCallion to National League side Halifax, has been struggling with a knee injury.

Seven of the Colts are included in the side, with Josh Marshall set for the scrum half berth.

James Watson, who missed the Scarborough clash and is now one of the most experienced members of the squad, is set to return and could be partnered with the equally-experienced Simon Whitehead in the front row.

YM’s season concludes with a home game against Bridlington when the club will hold a 10-year reunion for everyone involved from the 1998 squad who won the Tetley Bitter Vase at Twickenham.
