AUSSIE scrum half Ben Wolfe is set to make his first start for YMCA in tomorrow's Yorkshire I clash at Keighley (2.15).
The former West Leeds half-back has come off the bench twice as a substitute, but looks likely to get the nod from coach Carl Thewlis after an ankle injury in training to regular No9 Simon Wilson.
Although not having Wilson's pace (which he demonstrated last week when coming into the line after taking over at full-back), Wolfe does bring more experience to the half-back position, and is a more robust player than his younger counterpart.
The other good news for YM is the recovery of David Rees (pictured right), following his precautionary withdrawal early in the second half of last week's victory over Malton & Norton.
The club's leading tryscorer (11 to date) limped off complaining off tightness in a hamstring, but trained alright this week and should resume at full-back.
Last week's 22-17 win lifted YM into fifth spot in the table, and although they have yet to really hit the straps, victory over Keighley would not only ensure they stay out of a potential relegation dogfight, but also keep them on the fringes of the promotion pack.
