I'm expecting Huddersfield Town to hit winning form again when they entertain Sheffield Wednesday.

The Skybet Championship is so tight this season that two or three wins will push you right up the table.

We’ve seen that with Bournemouth and Brentford already this term, as they are right in the thick of the title and promotion races right now, and it’s incredible that only six points separate the top 10 clubs.

Likewise, a couple of defeats can soon see you flirting with the relegation places, so it’s a very demanding division.

I’ve always felt that solid home form is the key to any successful season, and Town have been in great form at the John Smith’s Stadium of late.

That being the case, I’m very hopeful they can pick up three points at the expense of Wednesday and get themselves poised to challenge for a place in the top half of the table as they go to Bolton the following week.

It’s especially important for Town not to slip, because Bolton and Birmingham are starting to improve with new managers at the helm in Neil Lennon and Gary Rowett respectively, and Wigan Athletic have just followed them by appointing Malky Mackay, so you would expect the three of those to move up and avoid the relegation dogfight.
