Nahki Wells is targeting 20 goals for Huddersfield Town this season - and he's confident of hitting his target.

The club-record £1.3m buy from Bradford City will go into action at Middlesbrough on Saturday aiming to score for the third Championship game running.

His strike in the 3-1 home win over Watford helped lift Chris Powell's side to 15th and took Wells' goal haul to 11.

"I'm delighted to have ended my first year at the club strongly, scoring a few goals and helping us pick up some valuable points," he said.

"It's important to build some rhythm and get a run going, both for myself and the team, and I'm enjoying playing alongside James Vaughan.

"We are putting a lot of work into the partnership on the training ground and trying to utilise each other's strengths.

"Of course the team is the vital thing, but I can help us pick up points by scoring goals, and I would like a minimum of 20 this season. I believe I am capable of that."
